Ivorian winger Gervinho has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks, Roma confirmed on Tuesday.
Gervinho left the field after 37 minutes in Ivory Coast's 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea on Sunday and subsequent medical tests revealed that Rudi Garcia will be without one of his key players for their next three Serie A fixtures.
The former Arsenal man has scored seven goals, assisting a further four in 30 games across all competitions for the Giallorossi this season.
"Medical tests carried out on Gervinho have revealed a Grade I hamstring strain. The forward, who will begin a recovery program tomorrow [Wednesday], is expected to be out of action for around three weeks," the club confirmed via it's official website.
