The elder brother of Nigeria international, Obafemi Martins, Oladipupo, has died. Oladipupo Martins popularly known as Ladi Martins died on Tuesday morning in Lagos.

it was learnt that Martins has struggled to eat normally for the past few days and when he finally had a meal Sunday morning, he began complaining of heart problem by evening.
He would give up the ghost at Doren Hospital in Ajah on the outskirts of Lagos the following day.
Ladi was Footballer, he has played for AC Reggiana of Italy, FK Partizan of Serbia and Innsbrucker AC of Austria before returning to Nigeria.
This is the second time in three years that Obafemi Martins will be left bereaved. In July 2008, the super eagles striker lost his mother, Alhaja Sherifat Martins.
He was buried according to Muslim rites this afternoon at the Victoria Court Cemetery, Kilometer 36, Lagos – Epe Expressway, Eputu, Lagos. The burial was attended by a few family members and friends.
He retired from fottball after continuous heart complications.
