Nigeria Basketball Federation's league to commence

It is official...the wait is over...the new season starts this March!
The Nigeria Basketball Federation and it's major partners Multichoice
Nigeria Ltd and Zenith Bank,PLC have endorsed the commencement of the
2012/2013 DStv Premier League for Men on saturday 9th March,2013 and
Zenith Bank Women's League on 21st March,2013,respectively.



The official commencement of the DStv League will take place in the indoor
hall of the national stadium,lagos,and games will be played same day in
other venues across the atlantic and savannah conferences the same
day.This season,the DStv League will welcome back returnees Plateau Peaks
and new-comers Mark Mentors will replace Tapgun Rockets in the Savannah
Conference while debutants Oluyole warriors will taste premiership action
in the atlantic conference.

The indoor hall,national stadium,abuja will host the commencement phase of
the Zenith League for Women from 23rd March-6th April and teams are
expected to arrive on 21st in time for the technical meeting on 22nd
March,2013.The NBBF and Zenith Bank have finalized arrangements for a
pre-season press briefing and cheque presentation ceremony in the press
centre of the national stadium,lagos on thursday 28th march,2013 at 11am.
