FCT SWAN builds Secretariat in Abuja

The Sports writer Association of Abuja (SWAN) FCT Chapter led by Kayode Adeniyi will start the construction of their secretariat in Abuja, an official has revealed.

After an official visit to the Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu during the visit to his Abuja home yesterday has promised to help them build a house from the foundation to roofing, with his personal money.

Kalu told the newsmen that ‘I promise to help you build a secretariat if you can acquire a land in Abuja, that will not be a problem, I will personally finance the project from start to finish, go and discuss with the FCT minister, ask him to give you a land and if its granted, construction will be handled by me personally just give me your budget’

‘If we are able to acquire a land the building in return will be named after you sir’ was the response of the association Chairman Kayoed Adeniyi.

Meanwhile the association chairman told sportdiva.net  that ‘the sports minister has approved a piece of land for the association to build our secretariat, the land is located at the package b of the national stadium in Abuja, we are very grateful for the gesture towards our associations’
