RASHIDI YEKINI WALKS BAREFOOTED IN IBADAN....ARE THE ALMIGHTY FALLING?

......memories of this guy still linger in my mind,,,he still remain the highest goal scorer of the super eagles, Rumour has it that Yekini has been walking barefooted all the the streets of Ibadan, he is broke and has been suffering psychological trauma.

According to City People, he is said to suffer DELUSIONS, a Neurological illness thaT hinges on belief that is pathological and held. Neighbours at his Oni and Sons Ring Road residence in Ibadan say he's been acting strange for some time now, always seen talking to himself. Sources say sometime late last year, Yekini, in the full glare of neighbours, brought out his belongings and allegedly set it on fire.

Yekini lives alone in his house, has a few tenants and rarely gets visitors. Since his marriage crashed in 1994, he hasn't remarried but has two children who visit him on holidays.

Friends and some of his ex-team mates worried about his mental instability are trying to get him help.

Sportdiva says: seriously i feel like crying:for how long will this continue to happen to our ex-footballers, if its not psychological trauma, it will be financial/emotional trauma, someone was accused of theft sometimes ago HABA! some people even live abroad to hide their shame.

i believe this is a big lesson for the current ones to invest, spend wisely because a time will come when they will no longer play active football not forgetting the fact that not everyone will become great coaches like siasia, keshi, henry nwosu, anne chiejile and so on, and not everyone will be a successful administrators like Ogunjobi, Odegbami, etc.....

learn a lesson from CELESTINE BABAYARO...........girls will only eat your money and pretend you dont exist when trouble comes, 90% of girls wants to marry/date a footballer because of thei money..........

instead of these ones getting a life by sourcing for ways to make ends meet in retirement they lobby to go to the FAs either as a commitee member or a Chairman (which is in vogue now)......a word is enough for a wise
