Sani Lulu, Ojo-Oba,Ogunjobi and Amanze Unchegbulam use to be the highest referred persons in Nigerian Football BUT the Law i think is after these ones.
They were detained in Kuje Prisons, Abuja for quite sometime by the EFCC; all of a sudden we heard they have been released and are moving freely despite the financial scam allegations against them by the EFCC.
A Court hearing has been adjourned to MAY 9th 2011, these men were arraigned on Friday before the presiding judge Justice Donatus Okoruwa.
Charges against them are Gross mismanagement of NFF World Cup funds to the tune of N1.3billion(yeepa mogbe!) and other sundry abuse of office; the kernel of the hearing is that its only FIFA that has the jurisdiction and can prosecute the accused rather than the anti corruption agency.(how possible?)
The Court refused Amanze Uchegbulam when he applied for his international passport to be released to enable him attend CAF function; the request will be considered at the next hearing(nawao)
My answer; the law i think is after him and the rest......lets hope the case will not be dissolved or dragged till we no longer hear anything again.....! (side eyes*nose*and ear*
