OSAZE ODEMWINGIE HAS APOLOGISED TO COACH SAMSON SIASIA

NIGERIAN fans, who want West Brom striker, Osaze Odemwingie, back in the Super Eagles squad will soon heave a sigh of relief as he is set to stage a return to the team.

Odemwingie could make a return to the Nigerian national team setup after he was excluded from the last two games against Argentina and Ethiopia on June 1 and 5 respectively.

According to SuperSport.com, a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed on condition of anonymity that the rift between 29-year-old Odemwingie and Super Eagles manager, Samson Siasia, is near being resolved before the set of next games involving the team.

The official described the matter between the two as an issue that has been taken up internally by the football federation.

"The issue you're talking about is like a family matter between the two of them. In life, there are bound to be misunderstanding among family members and this is just one of them.

"But the matter is being handled internally by the NFF away from the media, and I am sure that Osaze will return to the team before the next matches of Super Eagles."

This development means that Odemwingie could feature in the August 6 international friendly match against Ghana's Black Stars in London.

A row of some sort had broken out between Odemwingie and Siasia when the former posted a rant on social network website, Twitter, fuming at his national team coach.
