MTNFootball.com can specifically reveal that the Nigeria international defender lost 100,000 Euros to the agent in a personal kit endorsement contract.
The agent, who is widely known to handle Taiwo's businesses while he was at French club Olympique Marseille, is also reported to have made away with another N10 million (about 50,000 Euros) from the player's Wonder Loaf Bakery in Lagos.
Taiwo bought Wonder Loaf from the family of the late tycoon MKO Abiola as part of his investments in Nigeria.
"Taye had a deal with a top sports brand but rather than he handling it, he mandated this agent to act on his behalf.
However, the 100,000 Euros from this deal would eventually be routed to the agent's personal account," a top source said.
"The player also lost to the same man over N10 million belonging to his bakery in Ikeja Lagos, which is managed by one of his brothers."
