RYAN Giggs is set to sensationally quit Manchester United after being caught playing away, fans fear.
According to pals, Ryan Giggs plans to hang up his boots and focus on saving his marriage after he was exposed as a double love cheat.
Friends said one of the most successful players in British football does not want to end his career being subjected to taunts from rival fans.
The decision would cost him more than £4million in lost wages alone.
But according to a respected website for United fans, it was the price Giggs was willing to pay to save his marriage to wife Stacey, 32.
Club insiders said boss Sir Alex Ferguson, 69, will encourage Giggs, 37, to see out his contract and may even make him team captain.
But according to Andy Mitten, editor of website United We Stand, Giggs is considering following Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, both 36, into retirement.
EX-tangle footie star Ryan Giggs is setting up a £1.5million “squabbling fund” to end the scandal of his cheating double life.
The Manchester United ace is so desperate to stop the sleazy revelations, he is paying two lots of divorce fees.
Giggs has already told his betrayed brother Rhodri he will cough up his costs.
Now he has also pledged to pay legal fees for Rhodri’s estranged wife Natasha, 28 – the sister-in-law he had been secretly bedding.
Married Giggsy, 37, is also on the verge of handing over around £250,000 in “hush money” to 34-year-old Rhodri, buying his silence over the squalid affair that has destroyed the player’s reputation as a clean-living family man.
Andy wrote about Giggs: “Been speaking to mates about stacking it and retiring. No decision made.”
A close pal of Rhodri said: “All in all, Ryan has earmarked around £1.5million to sort this whole sorry saga out as quickly as he can.
“He wants Natasha out of the picture immediately, which is why he is prepared to foot his brother’s legal bills.
